Playing with Peyton...

We met up with Casie & Peyton today at the park and had lots of fun. It got chilly for a few hours, so we slipped on a long sleeve shirt. I bet you can guess what happened with the bark mulch (see second picture)...

Green for St. Patty's Day!

So, I'm running out of new ways to pose him, especially to get a few fast pictures before he tries climbing or crawling away. He is just so adorable, I can't resist taking pics of him in every outfit! He squeals with delight every time we go outside... summer is going to be lots of fun!

No pictures, Mom!

He was way more interested in playing, than my photo session! I'm loving all his new summer clothes from the recent mom yard sales. I couldn't pass up these adorable yellow plaid shorts. They don't really match, but Ethan doesn't mind!

Rockin' the red shirt...

Ethan's been having a lot of fun holding on to the carpeted step that Pat made. We snapped a few pictures before running errands this morning. Oh, how I love this little guy!! :)

Bulldog on my PJs!

We found these PJs with a bulldog on them and couldn't pass them up. We had fun cuddling and taking a few photos this morning. His facial expressions are so adorable... he makes me laugh! I love the "oh no, you caught me" look in the last 2 pictures.

Climbing on my recliner...

Ethan's recliner has became a fun climbing object. He likes trying to climb over the arms and it's low enough that he can climb into it. He is still a little unstable trying to stand holding on to most objects, but he can hold on to this chair pretty well. I also love that it makes his eyes look even bluer!

Backseat Driver

Ethan is learning to be a backseat driver! He got this cool ride-on toy for Christmas and the steering part comes off so he can play on the floor. He turns the wheel and pushes the shift lever up and down... as always, he is mesmerized by anything with lights and fun sounds!

Summer is coming!

I bet Ethan gets so tired of me taking pics. We literally take 100's to get a few shots that aren't blurry because he was trying to squirm away. These last 2 weeks have been beautiful... 60-70 degrees and we are enjoying every minute of it. I pulled out all Ethan's summer clothes and he's been wearing short sleeves and shorts.

The second picture is a common face he makes now - he sucks in his bottom lip while making cute noises. We also have our first tooth and the second bottom one is starting to show up.

Short sleeves & chubby arms!

75 degrees today...woo hoo! We tried to spend as much time outside as possible and since we have extra daylight, we put a blanket on the deck and played outside until it was almost bedtime. He loved having his socks off and getting to wear short sleeves. Of course, you can spread out a king size blanket and he instantly tries crawling off to touch the wood.

I love this picture. The pose almost makes him seem like a buff kid - ironic, since his arms look like marshmallows, lol.

He's been tugging at his ear lately, so we went to the Dr. to check for an ear infection. No infection, the irritation is due to teething and 1 on the bottom is just starting to peek through. She said the 4 on the top would be coming soon after.

Enjoying Spring Break...

Pat was off school for Spring Break last week, so we were able to spend lots of family time together. Ethan is a daddy's boy for sure! We went walking at the SIUE trails and Pat decided to venture off into a wooded dirt path (read: not stroller friendly). We assumed it would circle back around, but almost 2 hours later we finally found our way back to the car. Thankfully, Ethan is an amazing, happy kid and loved every minute of it!
